MOZART FINDS A MELODY
Exploration at the Intersection of Music and Visual Arts for the Young and Young at Heart
NECP is excited to return to Plymouth Public library with a program designed to engage our youngest audience members. This year we have teamed up with Stephen Costanza the author and illustrator of the book "Mozart Finds A Melody". Together we will tell this tale based on a true story from Mozart's life (complete with projections from Stephen's book), demonstrate the instruments of the woodwind family, demonstrate Stephen's creative process, and break down a small musical example to demonstrate how each member contributes to the musical whole. The event will end with a "petting zoo" where audience members can try the instruments and art materials. We hope you can join us!
This event is presented free of charge in conjunction with the Plymouth Public Library.
